Rachael Gwinn has had a love for both Italian and teaching since college. She graduated with majors in Linguistics and Italian, including a year of immersion at the Università di Padova. During graduate school she worked as a freelance translator, and began teaching Italian classes in 2019. Her teaching style focuses on the grammatical building blocks of the language, with an emphasis on why different constructions occur, when they're similar to English, and when they differ. When not teaching Italian or attending Italian club, Rachael spends her working hours as a Machine Learning Engineer and during her off hours she enjoys climbing, snowboarding, or knitting.
